Mr. Wright leads E3’s energy storage practice, providing expertise in technical and commercial due diligence for both standalone and integrated solar, wind, and thermal projects. With an extensive background in renewable energy which includes thin film manufacturing, technical and commercial due diligence, project development, EPC and O&M across solar, wind and energy storage technologies, Mr. Wright is actively involved in providing due diligence investigations, operating reviews, and advisory services.

Mr. Wright’s background in renewable energy spans over 15 years.  He has held key positions in operations, engineering and technical due diligence roles for wind, solar and energy storage.   This includes extensive experience in both utility-scale and Distributed Generation project development, engineering, construction and operations supporting over 450MW’s of solar, 300MW’s of wind and over 1GWh of energy storage projects globally.

Mr. Wright has served as the subject matter expert for all aspects of stationary energy storage, including lithium-ion battery technology, system design and applications, system performance, commercial and technical warranty and performance contracting, battery recycling and market trends.  He actively attends industry conferences and provide ‘thought-leadership’ content for events and social media platforms (i.e., LinkedIn). Invited speaker at various SPI 2020 events and PV Magazine online content.  Mr. Wright has a master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Toledo and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of West Florida.
