Dan is an energy transition and storage specialist with over 15 years of experience in the field. His work centers around business strategy, industry trends, the intersection of policy and economics, and emerging technologies.

For the past eight years, Dan has focused on the emerging global advanced energy storage market as an analyst and subject matter expert. As one of the foremost thought leaders on energy storage in the US, he has authored numerous articles, presentations, and webinars, educating clients about how storage has disrupted markets today and how new technologies are reshaping them for the future.

Dan’s career began with a passion for decarbonization, and he has since led research and analysis efforts across the energy supply chain, including offshore wind, distributed energy technologies, solar, and competitive energy markets. Most recently, he worked with PA Consulting, guiding numerous clients in their energy transition investments. Before that, Dan was the Head of Energy Storage at Wood Mackenzie (formerly Greentech Media) and collaborated with DNV GL and Navigant Consulting (now Guidehouse).

Dan holds a B.S. in Mathematics-Physics and an MSc in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering.
