Amir Valibeygi

Amir focuses on engineering and commercial analytics at BrightNight where he designs power solutions for the company’s utility and C&I customers in various global markets. Amir has successfully helped BrightNight in commercialization of hybrid generation and storage solutions including high capacity factor solutions encompassing solar, wind, and energy storage in India. His experience spans battery storage engineering, optimization, and power system control. Prior to BrightNight, Amir worked at Solar Turbines where he focused on commercialization of the company’s battery energy storage product as well as energy storage co-optimization with the company’s gas turbine generation assets. Prior to that, Amir has successfully developed and implemented energy management systems for several microgrids including the first healthcare facility microgrid in California capable of running on solar and energy storage.
