Gordon Drake is the Director of Market Design & Analysis at the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). In this role, Gordon leads a team of professionals central to Texas’ electricity market, analyzing market outcomes and spearheading market change initiatives in collaboration with market participants and other key stakeholders. The Market Design & Analysis team is instrumental in evolving the Texas electricity market, providing regulatory and policy decision-makers with data-driven, strategic insights. Gordon’s electricity industry experience spans more than two decades in both private and public sectors across North America, covering areas such as system operations, wholesale market design, public policy, technology innovation, and business strategy.
