
Kevin Chen
Kevin Chen leads data center and energy storage strategy, market expansion, and technical advisory for large scale power infrastructure worldwide. He advises developers, utilities, investors, and hyperscale clients on converting interconnection, transmission, and market constraints into financeable and executable pathways.
His expertise spans generation interconnection, resource adequacy strategy, transmission planning, and the integration of battery energy storage with renewable generation and large new loads. Kevin has supported more than 10 GW of assets across development, interconnection, Owner’s Engineering, Independent Engineering, and lender advisory engagements.
Kevin is a Licensed Professional Engineer in California and Texas. He earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. He has completed graduate studies at Harvard Kennedy School and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in energy policy and business. He is a CFA Level III candidate.
