Riccardo Bertocco

Riccardo Bertocco is currently the Chief Financial Officer at NextGen Energy, where he leads the company’s financial strategy and operations. With a robust background in sustainability and energy transition, Riccardo has held prominent roles such as a Member of the Board of Directors at LSB Industries, and leadership positions at Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company, where he led initiatives in digital transformation, cost optimization, and strategic procurement.

Riccardo’s deep and diverse expertise in energy transition includes developing decarbonization solutions, hydrogen production, and distributed energy resilience. At Boston Consulting Group, he served as the Sector Lead for Utilities and Renewables in North America and the Global Lead for Midstream, focusing on hydrogen and decarbonization. His work included supporting hydrogen hubs, developing decarbonization pathways for utilities, and creating strategies for low/zero carbon businesses.

Riccardo holds an MBA from Wharton School and a B.S. in Business Administration from Bocconi University. He is bilingual in English and Italian, and fluent in Spanish.
