Christov Churchward

Christov Churchward is a Senior Advisor in Corporate Strategy at the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), where he works at the intersection of long-term strategy, policy, and stakeholder engagement with a recent focus on energy storage. He has held multiple roles at MISO over the past seven years supporting initiatives spanning external roadmap development, business planning, and coordination of MISO’s market-system investment portfolios.

Earlier in his career, he established single- and multi-family energy efficiency programs in Pittsburgh and advanced energy innovation and policy collaboration at the University of Minnesota’s Institute on the Environment.

Christov holds a dual MBA and Master of Public Policy from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. from Colgate University.
