Steven Chan

Steven L. Chan is a senior executive with nearly 20 years of experience in the energy storage and solar industry. He is currently serving as General Manager, North America at CLOU Electronics, a subsidiary of Midea Energy, where he focused on selling utility scale BESS container solutions. He previously served as General Manager at LONGi Solar Technology and CEO of North America at Sungrow USA Corporation, where he led the respective North American teams to achieve top-tier market share. At LONGi, he was also heavily involved in the day-to-day engagement with Illuminate, the Ohio-based 5GW capacity solar module joint venture factory setup with Invenergy.
He began his career as a corporate attorney. He holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a A.B degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
