Carlos Molina Martin

Carlos Molina Martin has nine years of experience in the energy market working across trading, development of renewable energy projects sustainable investment.

He began his career as an analyst at EDF Trading covering European power markets before later moving into structure hedging and PPA contracts in Arraco Global Markets. Before joining Gore Street Capital in July 2022, Carlos’ role at Mytilineos RSD focused on solar PV and battery storage transactions across Europe, Australia, and Chile.

As part of the commercial team at Gore Street Capital, the investment manager of the London-listed and internationally diversified Gore Street Energy Storage Fund, Carlos is responsible for asset optimisation of several projects in the UK and California as well as providing market insights, and portfolio and industry reports. His US-focused work includes leading efforts to secure Resource Adequacy/PPA contracts for GSF’s 200 MW/400 MWh asset in CAISO and analysing local marginal pricing opportunities in Texas and California to produce investment valuations.
