Gene Settoon

Gene is a Director of Investments at Eolian, and he leads operations and construction activities for Eolian’s nationwide portfolio of standalone energy storage projects.  Gene has held that role since joining Eolian in 2021.  Prior to joining Eolian, Gene spent 5 years at Invenergy working across the company in a variety of roles focused on renewable project M&A, new market strategy, and behind-the-meter solutions.  Gene’s first involvement in the energy storage industry was working on the corporate development team at Ambri, an energy storage technology start-up in Boston in 2015.  Gene earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT.
