John King

As Head of Commercialization, John leads commercialization strategy and execution for the Americas business.

John is a twenty year veteran of the renewable industry, with extensive experience in leading structured transactions supporting the financing of new build solar, wind, and storage assets in the US, Canada, Mexico, and the UK.

Prior to joining Enfinity he was a senior executive at Invenergy, a leading US-based global IPP and developer. In his role as Senior Vice President of Commercial Contracts, he oversaw the execution of over 3GW as leader of the company’s transactions team. Prior to this executive role he worked as the primary transaction lead, closing over 6GWs of PPAs and transfer agreements representing over $8B in contracted revenue.

He has held numerous other roles in the renewable industry primarily in environmental commodities trading, where he led transactions totaling over 10M RECs and carbon offsets.
