As the leader of business development, partnerships, and commercial management for Ascend Analytics’ SmartBidder platform, Michael Huisenga plays a key role in advancing storage bid optimization solutions. He works closely with energy storage owner/operators to evaluate platforms, benchmark performance, and tailor strategies to optimize risk-return objectives, ensuring seamless customer integration and enhancing financial and operational outcomes.

Prior to joining Ascend Analytics in 2023, Mr. Huisenga held senior leadership roles in renewable energy technical services at WSP, one of the world’s top five engineering design firms, where he played a key role in advancing sustaining energy solutions.
