Victoria Carey

Victoria Carey is a Director at Bank of America, within the Global Renewable Energy Technical group, since 2022. Ms. Carey has spent her career at the intersection of renewable energy technology, policy/regulation, and finance. In her current role, Ms. Carey assesses BESS projects’ technical risks and related mitigants to support the Bank’s investment in construction debt or tax equity financing. Most recently prior to Bank of America, she spent nearly three years at New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) as the Clean Energy Manager, developing and launching grant and financing programs to support small businesses’ vehicle electrification and energy efficiency. For eight years prior to NJEDA, she was a Senior Technical Consultant at DNV, performing BESS technical due diligence and bankability studies, and energy efficiency validation and inspections. Ms. Carey earned her BS in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University.
