Leads Wärtsilä ES&O hardware engineering projects related to BESS fire and safety compliance, testing, and R&. Acts as Wärtsilä spokesperson on NFPA’s ESRC (Energy Storage Research Consortium) to support industry-relevant fire protection issues and identify related research needs. He is dedicated to advance Wärtsilä's mission to be a leading integrator with the highest regard for safety. Prior to joining Wärtsilä, Chris was a NPI (New Product Introduction) Project manager at Flex, one of the nation's largest contract manufacturers. At Flex, Chris was involved in several energy projects, specifically battery energy storage systems. Aside from battery energy storage, he has worked in Energy, Government, and Automotive sectors.
