Carla Frisch

Carla Frisch is the Principal Deputy Director of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy which provides analysis on all aspects of the energy sector and works across government to enable policy in support of a clean energy economy. Frisch previously directed DOE offices focused on climate and environment, energy efficiency, renewable energy, transportation, and electricity systems. She has worked extensively on energy system vulnerabilities and solutions. Previously, she led the U.S. Program at RMI. Frisch holds degrees from Duke University and UNC at Chapel Hill.
