Robin Laine

Robin Laine is the CEO and Co-founder of Transect. Over her 17 years in the environmental industry,
Robin has been a field biologist, project manager, division director, and national program manager
for local, regional, and national firms. She has surveyed thousands of acres of land for sensitive
resources like endangered species and wetlands, she has navigated complex federal, state, and local
permitting for hundreds of development projects, she has served as in-house environmental staff for
Fortune 500 companies, and she has given educational presentations across the country on
mitigating environmental risk. Robin is now directing her passion towards Transect, an online
platform on a mission to balance the conservation of the natural world with the needs of the built
world by making site assessment and environmental due diligence easy for those in the energy,
infrastructure, and real estate industries.
